Columbus Day
I would say happy holiday day, but Columbus Day is one of the silliest holidays of the year.
Melanie and I got to take Sara out this weekend while she was in Great Falls. We had some drinks and Sara managed to be the only semi-sober person in the end, but we still had to take a cab home. It was good to see her again. Other than that, I spend most of my weekend with Marlena helping her out with the latest drama. My mother served her with a "pay rent in three days or move out" notice and now Marlena is struggling to find somewhere to live. Tad has apparently been cheating on her and bla bla bla bla....so needless to say I have been trying to help her through it. It's hard when you have your mother saying shit in one ear and your best freind saying the opposite shit in the other. I get sick of being in the middle of their miscommunication bullshit, but what can you do?
My dad is being all the more strange these days. We went out to dinner a couple of nights ago and he told me that he still thinks he's getting married this coming summer. So, I need to plan my move and future job around his marriage date. The catch is...he still hasn't even talked about it to the girl he thinks he's marrying! What the hell do you say to someone like this???? Anyone have any advice?

Hey, sorry I didn't get a chance to call you on Saturday. We got busy with the car stuff and with my grandma coming into town. The maddness!
Maybe I've never taken a cab in Great Falls, but it seemed really cheap for going from one end of town to another.
