I never feel like I have anything new or important to say, so I have been avoiding blog updates for the past month. But I guess I can blab for a bit about what's going on in my world. As most of you already know, Kristen was just here for a few days. I was glad to see her again...I don't realize how much I miss people until I see them after a long absence. She came to Bernie's for New Year's and we succeeded in getting a little drunk. Hopefully I will be able to make it down to San Diego to see her in the next couple of years.
Marlena is inevitably further along in her pregnancy and has found out she is having another boy. The news was a bit disappointing as I was really hoping for a girl. I don't know how she's going to handle another Dade every day. They were originally going to name the boy Colten James. Now they are considering Liam. That's one of my favorite names, but more than one person has reminded me how strange it would be to name my child that. So I gave in and told Marlena she could have Liam. She is still with Tad and he's planning on proposing to her at the Tony Roma's Christmas party. She'll love it for all the attention it will get her. Oh yeah...her little sister Krystine is also pregnant. She's 16. I really thought she was going to make it farther than Marlena, but she's pregnant over two years earlier.
I want to comment on mine and Bernie's relationship, but I don't want to sound strange or cheezy. Suffice to say things are going really well and I am excited to be in love. We are going to Missoula for his birthday next weekend. I can't explain how much I am looking forward to getting out of Great Falls and back to Missoula-if only for a few days.
